Cancellation and Missed Appointment Policy

 

  I consider any appointment that you have made with me, important. Your appointment is for your exclusive use and when it is cancelled with short notice, or missed altogether, it is often too late or impossible to offer this time to someone else, and the appointment time goes unfilled. I try my best to accommodate any changes to your appointment or, if you need to reschedule and have no problem doing so when enough time is given. 
 

  • A minimum of 24 hours of notice is required for appointment cancellations.

 

  • If you cancel with less than 24 hours before your appointment time, you will be billed for 50% of the cost of your appointment.

 

  • If you fail to show up for a scheduled appointment, you will be billed for the full cost of your scheduled session. I do not send appointment reminders. Your appointment is your responsibility.

 

  • If you are uncertain when your next appointment is, please contact me at 250-709-4490.

 

  • I am  frequently in session when messages are being left for me and may not get to messages between clients. If I receive a message regarding an appointment cancellation after the scheduled appointment time, clients are charged the full cost of their scheduled session. This is seen to be equivalent to a “no show.”

 

  • There is a range of valid reasons for cancelling an appointment. In order to be consistent with all clients, cancellation fees will only be waived in the event of a medical emergency requiring urgent professional treatment, a death in the family, or natural disaster.

 

  • Missed appointments and late cancellations are payable within the lesser of 30 days or rescheduled appointment via cash,  or interact e-transfer. I appreciate your prompt payment.

     

  • After 2 missed appointments or late cancellations, pre-payment will be required in order to schedule an appointment.

  • If you need to make any changes to your appointment when either adding on or removing services you have scheduled, I appreciate as much notice as possible as this may require more time for you or if you are no longer needing the time scheduled I don't have time to fill it.
